The Louvre... really?
... it's possbile!

"The Tree" which was phototgraphed in Bucksport Maine in 2011 is potentially going to be shown in the Louvre in Paris. It is part of the See|me artists group that will have a digital showing for the the first time in the Louvre. This is the same group that selected 5 images of Gallery C Studios to be shown in Times square back in July of 2014. It will be a one time event and curators from See|me group have chosen this image to potentially be shown along with many other internationsl artitsts. (Let's hope!)

Whether or not the image will go in, it is a shot that I love. Capturing my son photographing a stand out tree in the wooded path that surrounds Jacob Buck Pond. Everytime that I look at  the image, it brings me back to that hike and all of the images that captured during that trip. Mother nature was at her best with the sun peering through the trees showing the patterns of leaves and giving such terrific compostions for me to seek out and capture.

It was so beautiful that I created a book about the place.

Sold!

The image "Stony Brook Bay" was sold on my Fine Arts America site. One of my favorites from and afternoon's shoot. I originally went to the town to photograph autos at a car show... I missed the show but I ended up with some great location and nature shots. I love it when things like this happen.... you can make the best of your time, no matter what happens.
