Paul Cammarata Wins Honorary Mention at North Shore Art Guild Exhibit

Paul Cammarata's Black and white photograph of the Freedom Tower in NY was brought an Honorary Mention certificate. the show was judged by Mireille Belajonas, who is the Annex Gallery Curator for the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River, NY. At the Reception, Mireille discussed the reasoning behind each winning piece. She described Paul's photograph as "Dramatic" in regards angle the image was captures as well as the lighting and darkness giving a bold statement that clearly supports the exhibit theme"Artistic Perspectives".

Paul Cammarata Presents at North Shore Art Guild 

How to write an Artist Bio and an Artist Statement

The North Shore Art Guild (NSAG) asked Paul to present and speak about best practices in creating an artist Bio and statement. Paul had a detailed presentation with work sheets with best practices to help this art group in writing long, medium, and short bio. Also suggested approached in writing statements for and artists' overall art, specific exhibits, series, niches and individual art.. Thank you NSAG for having me share my knowledge and experience with your talented team me.

Festival of Trees, Port Jefferson, NY

Exhibit with North Shore Art Guild

The North Shore Art Guild exhibit Artistic Splendor is being held at the gallery on the lower level of the Sachem public Library.

The exhibit runs from November 1st - November 30th. The Artist Reception is being held Sunday, November 9th, 1pm-3pm​

Exhibit at Comsewoge Library Gallery 

Whispers

I am glad to be invited to be included in he “Whispers” exhibit which is curated by Gay Gatta. It is help at the Comsewoge Library Gallery. It runs September 1-30. It is a fantastic showcase of Long Island artist curated beautifully. All art (and artistic Jewelry) is for sale. Location is on Terryville road in Port Jefferson Station,NY. I have 2 abstracts in the exhibit, "Daydream" and "East Meets West". Stop in, check it out and get inspired!

Art + Photography in Three New Showings 

East Hampton and Farmingville Long Island

Paul Cammarata has two Photographs going into the NSAG's Summer Dreams exhibit at the Brookhaven Town Hall 2nd Floor Gallery. The pieces, "No Lifeguard and Sunset Cedar were captured at Cedar beach in Mount Sinai, NY. He also has 3 pieces that will be at Guild Hall's Clothesline Art Exhibit in East Hampton on June 19th. The photograph"Montauk" was taken near Ditch Plains in Montauk, NY. The photograph  "The End + Beginning" was captured at the very peak of Montauk Point. and "Lily Blast" is a Photo-Painting that Paul created. Finally Paul will have the photograph "50's Dream" and "Photo-Painting "As the Evening Arrives"  for continuous display at Brookhaven Town Hall's 3rd floor art wall displays.  Check the exhibits link for all current and upcoming exhibits..

Gallery C Studios at "Arts on Terry"
Free Outdoor Art Fair in Patchogue, NY

Come meet Paul Cammarata by his Booth at the "Arts on Terry" outdoor art fair. This is an annual contemporary art fair for all ages held on Terry Street, Patchogue’s official arts district. The fair highlights 200+ artists with 35+ solo artist booths, 20+ live-painters, 17+ organizations ( museums & organizations), and 17+ street artists as well as a full day of demonstrations, family-friendly activities, live music, poetry, and other performances. T

 

Paul will be showing and selling his art + photography in his Gallery C Studios Booth

The event is free to the public and will take place on September 22 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM.
